Accessibility statement

We are committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities, in the spirit and letter of Israeli accessibility law.

Legal framework

This statement is published in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to a Service) Regulations, 5773-2013, which apply Israeli Standard 5568 — the Israeli adoption of WCAG 2.0 at level AA — to internet services.

Level of accessibility on this site

The site was built to conform with Israeli Standard 5568 (WCAG 2.0 AA). Ongoing measures include:

  • Semantic HTML structure with a single main landmark and ordered headings.
  • Full keyboard operation, a visible focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
  • Text alternatives for all meaningful images and labels on every form field.
  • Colour contrast that meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 ratio for body text.
  • Responsive layout that supports zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
  • Compatibility with common screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack).

Accessibility tools on the site

The accessibility button at the bottom-left of every page opens a panel that lets you enlarge text up to 160%, switch to a high-contrast or dark display, underline links, switch to a more readable typeface, highlight the keyboard focus and reduce motion and animation. Your choices are stored in your browser and applied on every page.

Known limitations

Some third-party content, such as embedded maps or documents supplied by government bodies, may not be fully accessible because it is outside our control. If you encounter such content, contact us and we will supply the information in an accessible format.
